That is an amazing picture! It should be a postcard or hanging on someone's wall. Just stunning.
It's absolutely breathtaking--can almost smell the ocean air.
Gorgeous! Rocky shorelines are so breathtaking -- fun to walk around, fun to photograph.
LOVE THIS! You are one fine photographer. :)
I see your reading Lonesome Dove! I started reading it years ago and was really enjoying it, but the length caused my chunkster phobia to kick into high gear, so I had to stop. I have much more control over myself now, so one day I'll get back to it. I really do want to. Happy reading and reading and reading and reading to you! ;)
no words needed - the Oregon coast takes one's breath away - or at least mine!
Incongruent textures. This has my name all over it. LOVE it.
what a great photo! the weathered, split-rail fence is nostalgic for me because there was one in the front of my childhood home. fond memories of sitting on it... :)
Gorgeous!!!
Wow!!!!
Beautiful. You know how much I love Yachats!
Is that really blue sky on the Oregon coast?! ;) Love it!
Thanks to all of you. I was really happy with how this one turned out. It's along a walking trail near the house we rent every year so I see the things along it in many different weather conditions. We had one sunny afternoon there this past summer so I took my camera out for a walk.
Joy: yes I'm reading Lonesome Dove with a readalong group - we're reading 10 chapters a week which is making it doable because it's not the only book I'm reading. It's a great way to read it and I'm just loving the book!! You really should give it another shot.
Les: Yes! this past summer's trip was even more gray than normal - we only had one really good sunset all week and we had a couple of nice afternoons that I took full advantage of.
