Kailana: I totally get how this series does not appeal to everyone. I really think I wouldn't like it if I read the books. I love the audio versions, though - perfect for driving around town listening.

Bookfool: Lisette Lecat really does just a wonderful job with the voices. She's from South Africa so I think that may have something to do with why her reading seems authentic.

Vickie: I'm really not surprised that this series isn't up your alley. I don't think it's one I'd recommend to you after knowing you and your reading tastes all these years.

That's pretty amazing that the series is still enjoyable after all this time.
I still haven't had much luck with the series for some reason and just can't dig it. Not sure if I wasn't in the mood at the time I tried my first one or what. Ah well....

I have tried this series but it never seems to work for me. I plan to carry on with it eventually, though! It might have been a timing thing, so I don't want to miss out just in case I wind up loving it!
